Jordon Lovell,

Board Member & Licensed Therapist

I was born in, raised in, and have lived my entire life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Portland has been my home for the last 7ish years. I have been engaged in helping people, at various levels, for 11 years, through a number of different avenues, including pastoral leadership, adolescent residential treatment, foster care, and psychiatric emergency services. I have worked in a counseling capacity within a youth residential setting, community mental health settings, & a college counseling center. I completed my undergraduate studies at Multnomah University and earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from Western Seminary. I have been married to my wonderful wife for 12 years, and have a beautiful 2 year old Daughter. When I am not engaged in work I enjoy running, playing board games, watching sitcoms, and simply sitting around savoring life.

Hannah Steere

Board Member & Licensed Psychologist

As a follower of Jesus, mother and school counselor, a goal in my life is to show God’s compassion and love in everything I do. I’ve been a Christian since early childhood and have grown up in “the church” with many experiences, both positive and negative, although mostly positive.

My background is in clinical psychology and school counseling as I have been dually licensed for over 20 years. I have a doctorate in clinical psychology from George Fox University and during my education, I grew in my desire to use my understanding of psychology to help the Christian church in its approach to mental illness. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in hospital, residential, community mental health, private practice and school settings.

Due to my education and work experience, I bring a clinical understanding of mental health, but I think more importantly, I bring the experience of having a close family member who currently battles this on an almost daily basis. I understand what it’s like to love and support someone who experiences the pain and challenge of mental health difficulties alongside the joys and beauty of everyday life.
